If you have any questions about hiring a Tauranga wedding photographer, you can find the answers below – check out these wedding photography FAQs or get in touch.

Can I book you for a wedding abroad?

Heck yes! It would be my pleasure to travel in order to photograph the best day of your life. During the New Zealand winter, I jet around a lot. So drop me a line, you never know; I might happen to be nearby and you can save on travel costs!

What does your wedding coverage cost and which services are included?

My collections include: all pictures in high resolution (for printing) and low resolution (for sites/devices) as well as a personal online gallery. For additional packages and detailed information please hit me up via email or phone.

How do you manage the prepayment for your work?

The prepayment amount is 30% of the total.

Will all the pictures be retouched?

Yes, you will receive all photos retouched and in high and low resolution (for printing and web/devices).

How is your style concerning retouching? Is black/white possible?

Totally happy to retouch your photos in a natural and warm style. You can see examples of the style I go for throughout my site. There’ll be some black and white shots in there too, when it fits the mood!

How many pictures of our wedding will we get?

You will receive the best photos of your wedding day. Usually, I deliver between 500 – 800 images, depending on the booked time frame.

Do you use flashes very often or available light?

For weddings I prefer available light, but go for flashes when the natural light isn’t adequate.

When will we get the photos after our wedding?

I normally deliver the final versions of your photos (retouched and in different resolutions) within six to eight weeks.

Can we order wedding albums and printed photos from you?

Yes! I love printed photos and albums. For detailed information, you can shoot me an email any time. I offer two different types of photo albums, which I can show you at our first meeting. You can also decide on your favourite after the wedding of course!

How far should we book in advance?

Many couples book me a year or so in advance. But I also get a good few spontaneous requests! Basically, the earlier you get in contact, the better the chances that your date will be free on our calendar. As soon as you’ve got your big day set, we should start talking so please drop me a line when you’re ready.

Do you always shoot alone?

I mostly shoot every wedding by myself. I don’t feel another photographer is necessary unless you’re planning a larger wedding. If that’s the case, we can definitely bring in an awesome second shooter; it’s one of my à la carte options.

Can we meet before booking?

Of course! I love to get to know the couples I’m going to shoot. If you’re not getting married in Tauranga, we can always hook up for a video chat!
