Kauri Bay Boomrock

Natalie and Tim got married at Kauri Bay Boomrock, an absolutely stunning location. I’ve always loved shooting at this venue, as their beautiful grounds (which are set on a working farm!) pretty much make it a photographer’s dream. From the lush forest to the epic views atop the trig at sunset – you’re truly spoilt for photo locations. The building itself is stunning and offers great views back down the valley to the water.

The Wedding

Natalie and Tim got ready back in the Northshore of Auckland. I photographed the guys first before heading over to catch the girls getting their finishing touches. We then got picked up by helicopter and arrived in style to Kauri Bay.

After the ceremony, we hung out with the guests before setting off around the grounds to snap some epic wedding shots – then back for the reception to party the night away.
